Social Media… Comic Strips?
This week a good majority of my Twitter friends had “cartoon’d” themselves. This had happened before when the Simpson Movie was coming out and everyone turned themselves into a yellow characterization of themselves, but this week it went a little beyond just a new avatar picture.
They were all using a website called BitStrips. BitStrips lets you create a comic strip style version of yourself and once you and friends have registered you can create comics based on your characters. For example here’s one by my Twitter Friend Pip using our mutual Twitter friend Tee Morris:
You can then share, comment and rate the comic strips you and your friends have made. It’s an addicting website with fun social interactivity built in. No longer do I have to whine about having no drawing skills. And I love how easy to use it is. VERY easy to use. Niche? Maybe, but Twitter friends seem to have fallen in love.
