Nokia buys social media site…

According to Forbes.com, Nokia Buys Social Media Site Twango For About $100 Million. Twango apparently allows users to share online audio, video, text, photos and other kinds of files, an all-in-one file sharing service. It was started by 5 former Microsoft senior managers.

Beta, beta, who wants to buy a beta?

I was one of the first people on Pownce. Why? My twitter friends got me a beta invite. Skitch? Got a beta invite. I really enjoy the exclusiveness of the “invite only” beta stage of a website or product.

Can I has a traffic?

I am a big fan of the I Can Has Cheezburger site. It’s basically a site where people add captions to photos of cats. According to an article on Bloggers Blog, the blog “now gets 500,000 pageviews daily and runs ads that cost between $500 and $4,000 a week.”
